SSI Expands MediaSensor™ Line

The MediaSensor™ is now available with 10-30v input,
4-20mA output or 1-5v output.

SSI Technologies announces the recent expansion of the MediaSensor™ product line, according to Bill Day, Director of Sales and Marketing.

The popular MediaSensor™ absolute pressure sensors will now be available with additional output configurations. The new offerings include 10-30v input - 4-20mA out or 1-5v out which allow these absolute pressure sensors more flexibility for industrial applications.

“This new range of output configurations has been brought about primarily due to numerous customer requests,” notes Day, “Additionally, it gives us a broader range of products to expand further into the commercial and industrial markets.”

The MediaSensor™, with new output options, is currently available for customer sampling. Full production and shipping is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2002.

SSI has developed the MediaSensor™ absolute pressure sensors for both harsh and benign media with superior accuracy of <=/-2% from -40C to + 105 C. These compact , cost competitive sensors measure pressure from 100 psia to 3,000 psia, and are well suited for a variety of automotive and industrial applications.
