Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors

SSI offers two families of ultrasonic liquid level sensors - Fluid-Trac® and Acu-Trac®. Whatever your tank or storage container depth and profile, SSI probably has an ultrasonic liquid level sensor for you.Our ultrasonic liquid level sensors use ultrasonic technology to generate a high-frequency sound wave to measure the time for the echo to reflect off of the target and return to the ultrasonic liquid level sensor. The distance from the ultrasonic liquid level sensor to the fluid is calculated based on the speed of sound and the profile programmed into the sensor. Whatever your tank or storage container depth and profile, SSI probably has an ultrasonic liquid level sensor for you. Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors are: More accurate than resistive float senders, reed-switch tube sensors, or capacitive tube senders. Programmable to allow for non-linear flexible tank profiling. Accurate level volume measurements are dependant on the shape and dimensions of your tank. Tank irregularities are handled by our software using tank strapping profiles. Chemically compatible with many liquids such as gasoline, ethanol, diesel fuel, oils, engine coolants, fresh water, waste water, urea (AdBlue). Non-contact ultrasonic liquid level sensors are more robust than 33 to 240 ohm resistive float senders, reed-switch tube sensors and capacitive tube senders. Operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Fluid-Trac® Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors (2-Wire, Resistive Emulation)

	The Fluid-Trac 2-Wire Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors are non-contact sensors that can be used as a more reliable and accurate replacement for standard 33-240 ohm resistive float sender, reed-switch tube sensors or capacitive tube senders. The Fluid-Trac 2-wire ultrasonic liquid level sensor is commonly used to work with fuel gauges.

Fluid-Trac® Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors (3-Wire, Voltage Output)

	The Fluid-Trac 3-Wire Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors are non-contact sensosr that offers a wide variety of input and output options which enables them to interface with many different microprocessor-controlled fuel gauges for digital instrumentation.

Digital Fluid-Trac™ Ulrasonic Liquid Level Drum Gauge
	The Digital Fluid-Trac™ Ultrasonic Liquid Level Drum Gauge is a cost competitive non-contact continuous drum gauge. It is designed for use on vertical drums (≤ 32 inch depths) storing a wide variety of media such as water, waste water, motor oil, hydraulic fluid and diesel fuel. The Digital Fluid-Trac™ ultrasonic liquid level drum level gauge is NOT intended for use with gasoline. The Digital Fluid-Trac™ ultrasonic liquid level drum gauge is currently available for use with standard 55 gallon drums. Acu-Trac® Fuel Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensor
	The Acu-Trac® Fuel Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors are non-contact sensors that are a direct replacement for level senders on tanks with depths of ≤ 1.5 meters (59 inches). The Fuel Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors offers a choice of outputs (analog current loop; ratiometric voltage; or non-ratiometric voltage). The Fuel Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors have the additional capability of processing real time fuel data and messaging on a J1708 data link for both on vehicle and off vehicle communications. The Fuel ultrasonic liquid level sensors provide the user flexibility to program for tank configuration, digital filtering, sensor mounting offset, gauge drive output full and empty endpoints and communication mode.

Acu-Trac® NEMA4 Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors
	Acu-Trac® NEMA4 Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors are non-contact sensors that are a direct replacement for level senders on tanks with depths up ≤ 1.5 meters (59 inches). The NEMA4 ultrasonic liquid level sensors offer a choice of outputs (analog current loop, ratiometric voltage or non-ratiometric voltage). The NEMA's RS-485 bus allows real time processing of fuel data and messaging over the RS-485 bus. The RS-485 bus also provides the user flexibility to program the NEMA4 ultrasonic liquid level sensors for tank configuration, digital filtering, sensor mounting offset, gauge drive output full and empty endpoints and communication mode.

Acu-Trac® NEMA6 Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors
	The Acu-Trac® NEMA6 Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors are non-contact sensors that are a direct replacement for level senders on tanks with depths of ≤ 3.0 meters (118 inches). The NEMA6 ultrasonic level sensor offers a choice of outputs (analog current loop; ratiometric voltage; or non-ratiometric voltage). The NEMA6’s RS-485 bus allows real time processing of fuel data and messaging over the RS-485 bus The RS-485 bus also provides the user flexibility to program the NEMA6 ultrasonic liquid level sensors for tank configuration, digital filtering, transmitter mounting offset, gauge drive output full and empty endpoints and communication mode.
